St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians

Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Room 1C, School Bldg.
$20 Material Fee

We are beginning a new Bible Study on St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians. Please take advantage of this opportunity to become better acquainted with God's Word, and to cultivate a personal relationship with our Lord. Our goal in studying the Bible is to gain a better understanding of God's will in our lives, as well as to share the wealth of information and spiritual nourishment to be found in the Bible. If we call ourselves Christians, we have the duty to know what that means. The Magisterium of the Church and the Holy Bible are the definitive respondants to the answer of the meaning of Christianity.

This study of Galatians will encompass a 10 week period beginning June 4, 2003, with material being made available the prior week, May 28th. The hope is to provide a structured environment for forming a foundation of faith based on the teachings of the Catholic Church. Since this is a Catholic Bible Study, we have the advantage of viewing these scriptures in the light and guidance of our Holy Catholic Church. All you need to bring with you is a Bible (either the New American Bible (NAB) or Revised Standard Version: Catholic Edition (RSVCE) translations), writing material, and a spirit open to the will of the Lord. The material is available for free on the web, or a $20 material fee covers all handouts for the entire 10 week period. Please feel free to contact me via any of the following methods.

May the Love of Christ, the Enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, and the Blessing of God the Father be with each and every one of you.

Disclaimer: I do not wish to present myself as an expert in either theology, history, or scriptural interpretation. I am merely someone who is attempting to answer the call of Christ. The ultimate authority and interpreter of scripture is our Holy Catholic Church. If at any point I deviate from the teachings of the Church, please correct me,, as this is my shortcoming and in no way meant to be an expression of my views superceding those of the Church founded by Jesus Christ.
